Terms of use

Effective date: 10/22/2026

Platform and independent businesses

PlowPilot provides business-management software. Each snow service business is independent and is responsible for its services, pricing, customer agreements, personnel, taxes, permits, insurance, and legal obligations. PlowPilot is not a party to agreements between a business and its customers.

Authorized business use

Use PlowPilot only if you are authorized to manage this business's customer and service records. Enter customer information only when you have permission to use it for the intended service or communication.

Address suggestions and accuracy

Suggestions help with address entry but do not guarantee a property's exact location, postal deliverability, or driveway access. Confirm the service address with the customer before scheduling work or navigating. Manual corrections remain available.

Google Maps features are subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service, incorporated into these terms.

Safe operation and records

Use the app while parked. Connection-dependent features may be unavailable without internet access. Check pending sync status before clearing browser storage or changing devices. Recorded payments are bookkeeping entries, not card charges.

Photos and communications

Upload customer or property information only with appropriate permission. Customer photo links are optional, may be viewed by anyone who receives the link, expire after 30 days, and can be revoked earlier. Email features are available only when configured; users remain responsible for the content and recipients of messages they send.

Electronic signatures and contract content

Customers may contact their service business for paper copies, alternative signing, or changes to future electronic delivery, including withdrawal of consent to future electronic delivery. Businesses may record the request, requested preference, receipt date and resolution in PlowPilot. This request log does not cancel an already signed agreement or change historical consent, original signed records, service activation or payment history. It documents requests concerning future agreement and record delivery; it does not automatically change completion-email permissions, portal access, billing messages or other notices. Businesses must arrange fulfillment and consult qualified legal counsel about the scope, timing and permitted delivery methods for legally required or transactional notices rather than silently withholding them. Resolving a request records the business's action, not a legal determination.

PlowPilot provides electronic-signature and recordkeeping tools, not legal advice or legal review. You are responsible for the content, accuracy, legality and suitability of all agreements, templates and disclosures you create, upload or send, and for your authority to use them. An electronic signature records an act of signing; it does not by itself make contract terms lawful or enforceable.

PlowPilot is not a party to agreements between your business and its customers and does not guarantee that any agreement will be enforceable or that a signature establishes a person's identity or authority. Email verification confirms access to a mailbox, not identity. Signing evidence records are maintained by the application and are not independently certified signatures, trusted timestamps or notarizations, and the software may be interrupted or fail like any online service. Obtain qualified legal advice for your business and jurisdiction.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PlowPilot disclaims responsibility for the content and legal sufficiency of user-provided agreements. Nothing in this section excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Businesses are asked to acknowledge this notice before creating, saving or sending new agreements; past records and previously sent customer links remain available without it.

Customer messages and marketing

Businesses are responsible for the content, purpose and recipients of Messages campaigns and for holding a lawful basis for any marketing email. Record marketing permission only from an affirmative customer request you can describe, honor opt-outs, and do not use service messages for promotion. PlowPilot paces sending, reserves part of the daily email capacity for operational notices and may pause campaigns for quota, account or abuse reasons. Delivery-request logs do not change marketing or service email preferences.

Account and availability

Keep account credentials secure and provide accurate business information. Platform features may change or be interrupted, and users should retain any records their business is required to keep. No route suggestion replaces professional judgment about weather, road, or property conditions.
